Yemen's embassy in Washington has announced the recovery of 77 relics from the United States where they were smuggled. The relics were handed over to the Yemeni embassy in Washington in a handover ceremony attended by US officials.
Yemen's ambassador to Washington, Muhammad al-Hadhrami, appreciated the efforts of US security agencies in bringing the relics back to Yemen, confirming that Yemeni antiquities often get lotted and smuggled by terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda and the Houthi terrorist groups.
