A series of sectarian events the terrorist militia continue to organize since their overthrow of Yemen's government in late 2014, accompanied by looting and wasting huge amounts of public funds in front of the Yemeni people's eyes.
These Houthi activities come at a time when millions of Yemenis are suffering from the confiscation of their salaries, the expansion of poverty, the disruption of life, the deterioration of services, and the spread of deadly diseases and epidemics.
During the past few days, the Houthi carried out several activities that it calls "the Wilaya" day, and with they have spent huge amounts of money on it, including huge sums of money on fireworks that it launches in the air.
Last Thursday evening, the militia launched fireworks in the sky of Sana'a, Dhamar, Ibb, Amran, and a number of areas under the militia's control, to celebrate the "myth" day, and it lasted for about half an hour, as a manifestation of tampering with public funds and what they loot from citizens who suffer from starvation and difficult living conditions. Local sources and eyewitnesses stated that the Houthi militia distributed its members to various government institutions and facilities in the city of Ibb to launch fireworks. The Houthi militia's waste of huge funds on their sectarian activities has aroused the discontent of citizens in the areas under Houthi control, as it comes at a time when they are suffering from deteriorating living conditions, and the militia insist on ignoring them. Social media witnessed sarcastic and critical posts, confirming that Houthi sectarian activities remind Yemenis of their salaries, which the Houthi militia has been looting for more than seven years.
