The United Nations data have showed a decline in the number of internally displaced persons since the beginning of this year by 161 percent, compared to the same period last year, a period that witnessed a military escalation of the Houthi militia, especially in the south and west of Ma'rib governorate, and in the east of Shabwa governorate.
In light of the Houthi coupists' refusal to renew the truce agreement, which expired six months ago, its contents are still steadfast, while international and regional mediators continue to work on concluding a new agreement that is more comprehensive than the previous one, and paves the way for entering into discussions of a political solution and ending the conflict.
New statistics distributed by the International Organization for Migration indicated that the number of internally displaced persons decreased significantly from the beginning of this year until mid-March, by 161 percent, compared to the same period last year.
