The Kuwaiti Society for Relief, one of the humanitarian aid organizations operating in Yemen, has delivered 200 hand-held ploughing machines to farming families in the provinces of Lahj, Abyan, Hodeidah and Taiz, the state news agency 'Saba', has reported.
The deputy director of the Society Adel Ba-Ashan said during the ceremony for equipment delivery that the donation is meant to empower the families to improve produce and depend on themselves for producing food and earning living.
Kuwait, as government and non-governmental charities, have a clean record of offering brotherly help to Yemen in the humanitarian and other fields.
