Yemen’s army has launched a massive attack against Houthi militants in the southwestern Yemen province of Taiz, military sources said.
The Deputy Chief of the Morale Guidance Department in Taiz’s Military Axis Abdulbaset Albahr said the army “made progress in al-Ahkoom and Almafalees in south of Taiz and achieved some progress in Alshaqab to the province’s southeast.”
The army is trying to regain mostly hilltops that the Iran-backed theocratic terrorists use as vantage points to forcibly rule parts of the province.
