Alsahwa Net- Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called on Monday on the international community to continue exercising more pressures on the Houthis to permit repairing the Safer floating tanker in the Red Sea.
This was voiced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Al-Hadhrami during his meeting with the non-resident Ambassador of New Zealand to Yemen, James Monroe, the state-run Saba News Agency reported.
Al-Hadhrami discussed with Monroe Yemen’s developments and the Houthis’ defiance to permit the United Nations (UN) technical experts’ access and repair the Safer floating tanker.
He highlighted local and regional serious repercussion in case the crude oil had spilled from the tanker or it had exploded.
He called on exercising more pressures on the Houthis to avert looming disaster in the Red Sea.
For his part, Monroe renewed his country’s support to Yemen, its legitimate government and peace efforts.
