Houthis confiscate humanitarian assistance

Governorate of al-Hudeidah has called the United Nations organizations and other humanitarian international agencies to monitor assistances provided by the Center of King Salman and protect them from being confiscated by the Houthis

He called the international world to put pressures on the Houthis save the lives of civilians who suffers hunger and poverty

The governor of al-Hudeidah Abdullah Abu al-Ghaith had previously announced that al-Hudeidah is a disaster area due to widespread famine in some of its districts.

Meanwhile, militias of the Houthis and ousted President Ali Abdulalh Saleh are seizing 64 relief carriers provided by charitable organizations to the people of Taiz.

Meanwhile, the Local Administration Minister Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah held militias of the Houthis and Saleh fully responsible for holding the relief, appointing out that they deliberately operate to worsen the suffering of Taiz people.

Fatah demanded all human rights organizations, particularly the United Nations, to put pressures on militias of the Houthis and Saleh to release the humanitarian reliefs
