Marib's security leadership, headed by Provincial Police Chief Brig. Gen. Yahya Humayd, has called for heightened alertness and operational readiness in response to potential security threats, in line with directives issued by President Rashad al-Alimi.
During a security briefing held in the province, participants reviewed the implications of the 90-day nationwide state of emergency and discussed strategies to ensure effective implementation of related security measures.
The meeting emphasized the importance of intensified monitoring of movement through the province’s entry and exit points, while urging stronger coordination among various security sectors, including police stations and specialized units.
