The government has thrown its full weight behind President Rashad al-Alimi's decisions, including the declaration of a state of emergency, aimed at protecting citizens and preserving the country's unity and sovereignty.
In a statement, the government commended Saudi Arabia's support for Yemen's security and stability, as well as its leadership of the coalition backing the legitimate government.
The government also condemned the Southern Transitional Council's solo military maneuvers, urging them to pull out of Hadramout and Al-Mahra provinces and transfer control to the Shield Forces.
