Security forces in Marib Governorate announced the arrest of a Houthi terrorist cell leader, identified as A.A.D., who was involved in manufacturing and planting explosive devices targeting security, stability, and civilian and military leaders.
The operation was a result of high-quality intelligence and coordination between relevant agencies.
The suspect was apprehended in his hideout, which served as a bomb-making facility, and several disguised explosive devices and detonation equipment were seized. This achievement adds to the security forces' successes in combating Houthi terrorism.
This arrest comes after a recent video release by Marib security forces detailing preemptive operations that dismantled Houthi-affiliated terrorist networks specializing in planting IEDs and targeting military and security leaders.
