A rights organization has disclosed the critical health condition of a detainee held by Houthi militia in Ibb province, Yemen.
Mohammed Marsh Al-Salmi was transferred to a local hospital after falling into a coma for the third time in two weeks due to severe health deterioration while in custody at Ibb's Political Security Prison.
The "Rasd" Rights and Freedoms Organization stated that Houthi militia is concealing Al-Salmi's condition despite his family's pleas for international intervention to save his life.
Al-Salmi, who had undergone open-heart surgery just three months prior to his detention, suffers from seizures and lives with half a skull after a past road accident.
Rasd has called on international organizations, Yemen's legitimate government, and the UN envoy to intervene urgently to rescue Al-Salmi's life in accordance with local laws and international conventions
