The Legal and Rights Department of Yemen's Islah Party in Al-Jawf province held a seminar titled "Legal and Rights Awareness" attended by 70 local leaders.
Speakers highlighted the importance of legal awareness in documenting crimes and violations committed by Houthi militia since 2009, including killings, displacement, home demolitions, landmine planting, and property looting.
They emphasized that these crimes are non-expirable and require international accountability, and discussed technical and legal aspects of preparing rights files and accurately documenting crimes to strengthen community resilience..
