Houthi Militia Commits 5,618 Violations Against Women

A recent report by the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms revealed that the Houthi militia has committed a staggering 5,618 violations against women in Yemen between January 1, 2017, and July 31, 2025.

These violations range from brutal murders to injuries, kidnappings, enforced disappearances, physical and psychological torture, and forced recruitment.

The report documented 1,479 women killed and 3,398 injured due to shelling, artillery, mine explosions, and sniper attacks.

Additionally, 547 cases of kidnapping, disappearance, and torture were reported, along with 176 cases of forced conscription.
