A citizen was killed when a landmine planted by the Houthi militia exploded inside a house in Al-Jawf Governorate, northeastern Yemen.
Local sources said that a mine left behind by the terrorist Houthi militia exploded inside the house of Hadi Al-Mahashmi in the Al-Mahashima area of Khab and Al-Sha'af District, killing him instantly.
On Wednesday, the Masam Project announced the discovery of a new minefield planted by the Houthi militia in agricultural land during the militia's control of Al-Khawkhah District, southwest of Yemen.
The statement said that "the discovery of the minefield followed a series of tragic incidents in Al-Khawkhah District, most notably a landmine explosion that killed a child and his donkey, and injured his father with shrapnel while trying to rescue him."
