The head of the Social Department at the Yemeni Islah party branch office in Dhamar Governorate has strongly condemned the Houthi militia's prolonged detention of prominent politician and dialogue leader, Mohammed Qahtan.
Qahtan, a member of the Islah Supreme Council, has been held in Houthi prisons for over a decade.
The detention is considered a serious human rights violation and a crime against humanity, reflecting the militia's deep-seated hatred for key figures in the national consensus and state-building efforts.
Qahtan's strong republican stance and ability to unite ranks are seen as a threat to the Houthi militia's interests.
