Rival factions within the militia, affiliated with influential figures Al-Ruwaishan and Abu Ali Al-Kahlani, engaged in armed confrontations .
This isn't the first time internal disputes have turned violent in Ibb Governorate. Past conflicts between militia leaders have led to deaths and injuries, including the 2019 killing of Houthi leader Ismail Abdul Qader Sufyan.
