The Yemeni government has issued a warning about potential genocide crimes committed by the Houthi militia in Hanka Al Masoud village, Al Bayda Governorate.
The village was stormed after intensive shelling targeted homes and places of worship, and a ten-day siege cut off communications and imposed a media blackout.
Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani reported that random shelling resulted in deaths, injuries, and destruction of 20 homes.
Medical and food aid were prevented from reaching the affected areas, leaving approximately 10,000 residents, including women, children, and the elderly, vulnerable to retaliatory actions, arbitrary arrests, and looting.
