The Meteorology and Early Warning Center at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology expected, today, Sunday, that the coastal areas will witness partly cloudy weather - moderate temperature with the possibility of scattered rain in parts of the eastern and southern coasts, and light to moderate winds on the southern coasts, while they are active on the southwestern coasts, where their speed reaches 25 knots, stirring up dust and sand.
The center said in its daily weather bulletin: "After reviewing various weather maps, satellite images, and the outputs of global numerical models, it is expected that the weather in the mountainous highlands will be clear - very cold during the night and early morning in the western highlands, and cold to relatively cold in the highlands and interior plateaus of the governorates (Dhale, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadhramaut), in addition to the possibility of fog formation.
As for the desert areas and interior plateaus, the weather will be clear - moderate during the day and relatively cold at night, with moderate winds that stir up dust and sand."
