Thousands of cancer patients in Ibb governorate face the risk of death due to the absence of health care, the severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, and the absence of support, in light of the Houthi militia leaders' illegal trading in medicines and disrupting treatment and support centers for cases infected with the disease.
Medical sources in the governorate attributed the shortage of medicines and medical supplies, which were provided free of charge by international organizations and charitable organizations, to the Houthi group's efforts to benefit from funding directed to patients, obtain financial revenues from medicines, and constantly interfere in medical relief work, impose its decisions on funding agencies, and manage the affairs of hospitals and health centers.
