The Civil Defense in Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of the Palestinian Gaza city, has announced that its crews had recovered the bodies of three martyrs, a man, a woman, and her infant, and recovered a number of wounded under the rubble of Al-Nabih family's house bombed by the Zionist occupation army's warplanes.
The warplanes also bombed a house belonging to Al Khalifa family in the Old City, east of Gaza City too, while Zionist artillery also shelled areas in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. Palestinian media reported that the occupation army blew up residential buildings in the Al-Mughraqa area, north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In Khan Yunis, Zionist air raids targeted land in the town of Al-Qarara, north of the city. In Rafah, the occupation forces bombed the Brazil neighborhood, south of the city, with artillery.
The Municipal Emergency Committee in the Gaza Strip designated the cities of Jabalia and Beit Hanoun as two disaster-afflicted zones, due to the massive destruction that befell them as a result of the Israeli aggression and the military operations that took place there recently. The committee said in a press conference that the occupation forces destroyed 50,000 housing units and bulldozed drainage networks and roads in most municipalities in northern Gaza, referring to the destruction of 35 water wells, schools and UNRWA facilities, and warning of an imminent famine that now threatens northern Gaza.
The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip also announced, on Sunday, that its teams had recovered 70 bodies in Jabalia and its camp, noting that a large number of the bodies of the martyrs are still under the rubble, amid attempts to extract them to determine their identity, despite the difficulties and scarcity of capabilities.
Medical sources at Kamal Adwan Hospital said that the toll of those recovered so far has reached more than 120 bodies from the destroyed streets and buildings in Jabalia.
The terrorist Zionist occupation state has been waging a months-long barbaric bombing campaign against Palestinian cities mainly the besieged Gaza for nearly eight months and has killed and injured more than 118 thousand civilians.
