The death toll from the Israeli barbaric air bombing campaign against Gaza's population in Palestine has soared to 8796, a senior health official in the blockaded Gaza enclave said on Wednesday.
“The victims include 3,648 children and 2,290 women, while 22,219 other people were injured,” the Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said in a news conference in Gaza city.
He said 2,030 people were still trapped under the rubble in Gaza.
He said that the Israeli attacks have "left 132 medics dead and 25 ambulances destroyed."
As many as “58 hospitals and 32 primary care centers were forced out of service due to the Israeli aggression and fuel crisis,” he said.
The Israeli occupation forces have been launching a barbaric campaign of indiscriminate aerial bombing reducing entire IDPs camps and neighborhoods to debris, killing civilians in hundreds per strike, with a view to killing as many as possible of Gaza's two million people and forcing the fortunate to leave their land for a refuge outside Gaza and their country, Palestine, altogether.
