Yemen asks ICRC to save cholera-stricken abductees

Alsahwa Net- Yemen Human Rights Ministry has demanded International Committee of the Red Cross to swiftly intervene to save the lives of over 45 abductees affected by Cholera inside prisons of the Houthi-Saleh militias.

Human Rights Minister Mohammed Askar said in a letter to ICRC that the abductees have not access to needed healthcare the prisons of Habrah and the Political Security.

He made clear that the abductees are held I inappropriate cells, affirming that the Houthi-Saleh militias put some of them in cells which are full of sewage.

Meanwhile, the Abductee's Mothers Association (AMA) has warned against Habrah Prison in the capital Sana'a, appealing to save the lives of the abductees.

AMA on Saturday issued a statement in which it appealed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the International Committee of Red Cross and the Attorney General to save the lives of thousands of abducted held in prisons and immediately release them to hospitals to have treatments.
