A woman and a child were killed in two separate incidents in the Ibb governorate, central Yemen, in light of the horrific security chaos in the various governorates under the control of the Houthi militia.
Local sources said that a woman was shot dead by a gunman in Ibb governorate, in the village in the Al-Makhader district, north of the governorate.
The sources added that the victim was the wife of a man named "Ali Ahmed Al-Shehab", who was killed by bullets as a result of a dispute between the victim's family and the perpetrator's family, who are neighbors in the same village where the crime occurred.
According to the sources, the perpetrator was named "Abdullah Muhammad Musaad al-Khudari," and he fled after the crime.
In another incident, a child was killed in the Bani Omran area of Al-Adain district, west of Ibb governorate, under mysterious circumstance.
Local sources reported that a child named "Omar Ahmed Al-Omrani" was found dead three days after his sudden disappearance in his hometown of Al-Adain district, amid severe societal shock.
The sources added that the father and mother of the child entered into a state of shock and coma after learning of the death of their young son.
Ibb governorate is witnessing a horrific security chaos, with which crime, killings, looting and robbery of citizens' property in various districts have increased.
