A Houthi "security supervisor" has executed a civilian in a horrible way and dragged the dead body on the main street in Rada'a, in Al-Beidha Governorate.
Local sources said that the Houthi militant, Mohammed Abdullah al-Hashemi, who works as a "supervisor" on the local qat market in Rada'a, killed Haroun Abdul Rahman al-Musannaf, who hails from Ibb governorate, under the pretext of the man's default on the payment of [nefarious] taxes.
Social media activists are sharing a video of the Houthi militant shooting the unarmed Qat salesman, tying him to a "scarf" and dragging his body in the street in front of shoppers. The scene was captured by a CCTV camera in the market.
The sources added that al-Hashemi, a member of the racist Houthi militia ruling north Yemen, dumped the dead body in a pit and hurriedly buried it, without taking into account or referring to his family.
The sources indicated that the Houthi militia imprisoned the victim's relatives, brothers and cousins in the Central Security Prison to force them to relinquish any legal claims.
