The Yemeni Islah Party, in Ma'rib Governorate, affirmed the continuation of the battle of comprehensive confrontation against the Houthi militia until the restoration of the state, along with all partners.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Marib Islah office renewed its support for the official institutions of legitimacy, represented by the Presidential Leadership Council, led by Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi and his associates.
The Marib Islah party called on the political forces and parties in the governorate to convene and discuss developments collectively, in which friendship and brotherhood prevail, to remove the confusion resulting from the statement issued on Tuesday, without the Islah’s knowledge.
Marib Islah said that it was surprised by the issuance of a statement on behalf of some political parties in the governorate denouncing Islah’s silence regarding the formation of the council, at a time when the political parties in the governorate (including Islah) had set a date for issuing a unified position, but he was informed of its postponement by the organizing party. After that, it was surprised by the issuance of the statement without the Islah party knowing or notifying him of the new date.
It indicated that it, like other political forces and components, was informed of the announcement of the Supreme Council for Popular Resistance, which had never coordinated with political forces and social components.
It made it clear that the Yemeni Islah Party will continue to do its best to serve major national issues in a spirit of responsibility.
It called on state institutions to play their role in strengthening the course of the battle to eliminate the coup, and in a way that leads to improving the economic situation of the citizen.
