Yemeni sources working in the telecommunications sector, in the capital, Sanaa, revealed massive Houthi corruption in the major telecommunications companies (Yemen Mobile), as the terrorist militia turned the CDMA 2000 network provider into a major source of enrichment for the militia's leaders.
The corruption involves looting of millions of dollars, in parallel with the deterioration of the company's services and the monopoly of positions in it for the elements belonging to the Houthi dynasty.
While subscribers of the company's services expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation it has reached, in light of the deterioration of its services and the weakness of its signal in all governorates, the sources confirmed that the militia's leaders appointed at the leadership board of the company ignore the deterioration of its services, including the poor coverage.
The sources accused the leaders of the Houthi militia of seizing billions of Yemeni riyals from the company's revenues, in conjunction with excluding qualified employees and specialists in all departments, and replacing all their qualifications with people who belong to the Houthi dynasty, until it came to the company's employees that they started to satirically calling it "The Houthi company Mobile."
