Deputy head of Islah Media Department: Yemenis are fighting double battle to restore state and civil peace

The deputy head of the media department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Adnan al-Audaini, confirmed that the Yemeni people are fighting a double battle to restore the state and civil peace.

Al-Audaini said in a tweet, "The Yemeni people are waging a double battle on the militia front in order to restore the state, and on the front of countering assassinations to restore civil peace, a battle against the two-headed terrorism that targets the state and society at the same time."

Al-Audaini's tweet came as a comment on the assassination of the leader of the Islah party, Sheikh Ali Al-Haisi, in the Al-Mokha district, west of Taiz, by gunmen while he was on his way to his home, on Wednesday evening.

This heinous terrorist crime comes as a continuation of the assassination crimes as a tool to target patriotic figures, especially those who had prominent roles in confronting the coup of the Houthi militia and the Houthi bloody and racist agenda.

Since the Houthi coup against the state, dozens of Islah figures have been assassinated, especially in the southern governorates, amid repeated Islah demands on the government to investigate and uncover the parties behind the assassinations.
