Young man killed by Houthi landmine in Nehm district, east of Sana'a

A young man was killed today succumbing to injuries he had sustained in the explosion of a Houthi-laid landmine four days earlier in Nehm district, east of the capital, Sana'a.

Witnesses Organization for Human Rights stated that the young man, Rashid Muhammad Salih Abd al-Hadi al-Ramadi, died as a result of an injury from a landmine that exploded while he was passing through his neighborhood, Al-Ramadi in Nehm.

The organization indicated that it had documented dozens of cases of victims in that region and the death of many citizens' livestock during the past few years.

The organization also called on the Houthi militia to hand over maps of the mines the terrorist militia had planted ubiquitiously in the region, and to facilitate the task of the national actors and parties interested in dismantling mines and explosive devices.
