Eryani calls for putting Houthi leaders in international sanctions lists over child fighter recruitments

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, renewed the alarm over the Houthi escalation of child fighter recruitment process and the catastrophic risks that this will pose to regional and international peace and security.

Al-Eryani said in a statement to Saba, on the occasion of the International Day against Child Labour, that the Houthi militia have lured hundreds of thousands of children from schools to sectarian camps run and funded, according to Eryani, by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

Al-Eryani indicated that the Houthi militia continues the process of luring and recruiting children and booby-trapping their minds with extremist terrorist ideas and slogans of death and hatred.

Houthis are continuing a low-intensity war on Taiz, Marib and other Yemeni cities and pressing ahead with a military buildup and deployment of reinforcements on the frontlines.
