Al-Audaini added, "At the time of militias, the Islah party takes upon itself the task of preserving, consecrating and rooting political action in society."
Al-Audaini confirmed in a statement to "Al-Sahwa Net" that the first steps to restore political work are for "the parties to restore their internal health by activating the internal democratic path, and this is what the Islah Party is doing now."
Al-Audaini (commenting on the internal elections that the Islah party is conducting in a number of governorates) indicated that these elections come in the context of the role of the Islah party "in the task of restoring politics and peaceful work, and the role of parties," describing this task as "arduous and difficult after the spread of militias and armed groups." ".
He noted that "this matter depends on the insistence of the political parties to restore political work with its well-known traditions and its usual mechanism."
In the past two days, a new leadership has been elected for the Yemeni Islah party in the governorates (Hadramout, Al-Mahra and Socotra), days after the election of a new leadership also for the governorates of Al-Jawf and Al-Hodeidah.
This democratic process has been praised by both inside and outside the party, as a tool for reform to win the voice of politics.
