Five civilians from one family were killed and wounded in the blast of a Houthi-laid landmine in northeastern Yemen's Al-Jawf governorate on Saturday, it has been reported.
The Yemeni Landmine Observatory stated that a Houthi mine exploded ripping through the car of Abdo Saleh Hawiye, killing two of his children and injuring him and his wife and one of their children.
The Observatory indicated that the Houthi landmine blew away the car in which Hawiye and his family were traveling on a side road in the "Al-Gurfa" area of Al-Masloub district.
