On Friday, members of the terrorist Houthi militia killed a citizen from Saada governorate, who was working in selling qat, when he passed a security point of the militia at the entrance to Al-Hazm city, the capital of Al-Jawf governorate, northeastern Yemen.
A local source told "Al-Sahwa Net" that citizen Hayel Abdullah Al-Haras Al-Wadi'i, from the Dammaj area of Saada, was killed on Friday by Houthi gunmen at one of the security points at the entrance to Al-Hazm city.
The source added, "Al-Wadaei, who works as a 'makout' (qat dealer) from Saada, to Al-Wadiah and Ma'rib, was returning after delivering his cargo, and bypassed the security point at the entrance to Al-Hazm city, but the militia members followed him and intercepted his car."
The source said that the Houthi gunmen stopped the man and demanded that he hand over the car to them as "security men," according to them, and after he handed over the car to them, they asked him to hand over his personal weapon, but he refused.
According to the source, Al-Wadaei refused to hand over the gun to the gunmen and told them, "As for the gun, I will not hand it over to you. I will hand it over to the police station, because I don't know who you are: security men or highway robbers".
The source confirmed, "The militia members responded by immediately shooting him in the heart with three bullets," and he died at the spot.
