An elderly man was shot injured by a Houthi sniper in central Yemen's Taiz city on Sunday, it has been reported, in the latest crime of kind occurring since 2015.
Ali Qasem Saeed, 70, sustained a shot that penetrated his body while he wa roaming around his house in Kamb Aroos neighborhood in the east of the provincial capital of Taiz, local sources have said.
Taiz's provincial capital has been besieged by Houthi terrorists since 2015. Snipers affiliate to the foreign backed militia stationed in hilltops around the government-held city have since gunned down thousands of civilians as part of an intentional sectarian cleansing policy.
