Continuing to use the judiciary to eliminate oppositionists, the terrorist Houthi militia issued rulings to execute six civilian hostages in the militia's prisons, and imprison six others, including a woman, on fabricated political charges.
Lawyer Abd al-Majid Sabra said that the Houthi self-styled Specialized Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced to death Mujahid Hassan al-Qarah, Omar Abd al-Rahman al-Zumar, Ezzi Saifan, Fadel al-Hamidi, and Himyar Muhammad Rajeh.
The terrorists-run court also sentenced Hammoud Ahmed Muhammad Al-Qushaibi, Osama Al-Hatef, Hamdan Al-Qabati, Abdul-Hafiz Al-Salahi, Jamil Al-Maqsir, and Muhammad Al-Salawi, to twelve years imprisonment, starting from the date of their kidnapping.
The same Houthi court also issued a death penalty sentence against the kidnapped Muhammad Al-Bashari, and the imprisonment of female Hanan Shawei Hanan Al-Muntaser. He pointed out that Hanan Al-Muntasir, who is 47 years old, was arrested on July 3, 2019, and therefore she has served three years, seven months and nineteen days from the sentence to this day, and the remaining of the sentence is approximately eight years and five months. She will remain in prison until she reaches the age of fifty-five, although she has five child dependents.
