A Houthi sniper shot injured two children in the besieged Yemeni city of Taiz on Sunday, local sources have said.
A Houthi gunman shot 11-year-old Abdullah Qayed and 9-year-old Munawar Mohammed in the east of Saber Almawadem district in Taiz.
Bullets ripped through the bodies of the two children as they were walking in a main road.
Houthi snipers stationed in hilltop military outposts around Taiz's provincial capital have been gunning down civilians on almost a daily basis since the war broke out in 2015.
