Yemen: Houthi landmine kills three civilians including two children

Three civilians among them two children were killed by a Houthi-laid landmine in western Yemen's Hodeidah governorate on Friday, it has been announced.

The Yemeni Observatory on Landmines said today that "Khalil Waheeb, 11,  Saber Mashehoor, 17, and Mustafa Al-Ashbi, 35, were killed while a fourth, 18-year old Abdullah Al-Ahdal was critically wounded" in the landmine blast.

landmines planted by the terrorist Shiit Houthi militia have killed and maimed thousands of people most of them civilians since the start of the latest conflict (2015-to present).

Yemen government sources say the militia have planted over two million landmines, a concentration higher than that in any other world country since WWII, and hundreds of thousands of these mines will still be a threat lying in wait for the coming generations unless removed.
