Thousands of people took to the streets of Yemen's central Taiz city on Saturday to press demands for ending the terrorist Houthi militia's siege around the provincial capital and territorial foothold outside it.
The march, organized by the Higher Council for Popular Resistance against Houthi terrorists, demanded a support for the local army and warned of foreign interventions that seek to tamper "with the liberation cause" and tip the balance in Houthis' favor.
The demonstrators rejected, in a statement, the local authority's corruption and marginalization of the pressing "liberation cause."
The statement demanded the army and the people to hold fast and wait out the conspiratorial agendas as they are doomed to failure.
