Yemen's army repelled a new attack by the terrorist Houthi militia in the outskirts of the country's central Taiz of city on Tuesday, military and civilian sources have said.
The foreign-backed militia besieging Taiz since 2015 has since been attempting to close Al-Dhabab road the last humanitarian corridor connecting the city with the outside world launching attacks on almost a daily basis and the lightly armed army repels those attacks with the assistance of popular resistance forces.
The militiamen tried to infiltrate toward the army's positions in Jabal Habashi area near Al-Dhabab, and other frontlines and the confrontations led to casualties on both sides.
Lifting the siege on Taiz is the key obligation of Houthis under all the past UN-brokered "peace" agreements of which Houthis derived too much gains and gave nothing in return.
