The Secretary-General of the Islah, Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Ansi, sent a telegram of condolences and sympathy to Hani Saeed Al-Janahi and his brothers on the death of their father, the activist journalist and historian Saeed Ahmed Al-Janahi, after a life full of productivity.
Al-Ansi said, "Yemen has lost one of the most prominent Yemeni writers, journalists, historians and writers, who fought the national struggle against the abhorrent clerical regime and British colonialism until independence was achieved, as he was one of the founders of the Yemeni Writers Union."
He added, "Yemen has lost a national figure who fought the struggle and left its mark in the press and cultural work."
Al-Ansi offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to all the sons and family, friends and lovers of the deceased.
