'Islah will remain a political party that serves all Yemenis, adopts their causes'

The head of the Yemen Congregation for Reform (Islah) party in Taiz said the Islah "will remain a political party that serves all Yemenis" and "adopts their causes."

The secretary general of the party Habib Bajjash vowed in an address to a crowd of Islah supporters celebrating the party's 32nd birthday anniversary in the besieged city on Saturday:  "Islah will remain a political party that serves all Yemenis, adopts their causes, defends the republic and national unity … and resist all forms of repression."

Bajjash called on all forces in Taiz in particular and in Yemen in general to step up their united resistance to the Houthi militia until the liberation of the country and ending the Houthi coup.

Member of the Women Department at the Islah party Ruqiya Almujahid said in a speech the Islah's sacrifices are nothing but a translation of the goals of the glorious 26 September Revolution that [in 1962] ended the rule of the theocratic dynasty whose Houthi descendants today want to seize the republic and state via a black coup d'état.
