The Director of the Islah party's Media Department said the Houthi militia in Sana'a are seeking to establish a parallel judiciary despite the fact that the judiciary there is now under the militia's de facto control.
Ali Aljaradi said in a tweet the maximalist militia won't "leave any manifestation of the Yemeni state even if it is just ostensible and the [state institutions there] are totally affiliate to the militia.
He said the Houthis are copying the Iranian revolution which "established a revolutionary guards (army and intelligence) under the guardianship of the [Shiit religious] jurist, amassed wealth (The Fifth (or 20%) income tax and set up revolutionary courts to hang oppositionists on the gallows."
He said the Houthi militia are currently uprooting the national capital money by confiscating the national companies for private ownership, and manipulating the ownership of companies, factories and the economic cycle."
