The spokesman of the Yemeni army Brig. Gen. Abduh Mujalli said on Tuesday the integration of the rival military factions will defeat terrorists whoever they are and will fail their plots.
In remarks hours after a terror attack gunmen believed to be Al-Qaeda members launched on a security post in Abyan and left 21 members of the paramilitary Security Belt members killed and injured, Mujalli called the attack cowardly terrorist and calls to mind the necessity of unifying the national ranks.
Yemen is a partner infighting terrorism and we are determined to implement the combat tasks and impose of the formidability of the sate in preserving security in the different (Houthi-free) regions."
He said this terror operation by Al-Qaeda is a new evidence that Al-Qaeda is in a state of collaboration with the terrorist Houthi militia. "But the blood of the martyrs and wounded won't go in vain," he said.
