The family of the detained Journalist Abdul-Khaleq Emran has expressed deep concern over the deterioration of his health.
In a statement, it demanded local and international organizations particularly the United Nations and its organizations to end their silence toward the suffering of Amran who has been detained for more than a year and a half, stressing that his live is at risk.
It said that he suffered a sharp pain on his backbone, back, pointing out that his health constantly deteriorates, and affirming that he is deprived of having any treatment.
Emran was abducted along with eight fellow journalists on June 2015 and they are subjected, from time to time, to torture by militiamen of the Houthis and ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The statement held the Houthi Movement and all officials of the de facto authorities in Sana'a responsible for the safety of Abdul-Khaliq Emran.
