The tribal leaders of Shabwa have demanded the "presidential leadership council" to sack the governor of Shabwa Awadh Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki to prevent bloodshed in the province.
UA*E-allied separatist militias known as the Shabwa Defense Forces have been escalating hostilities against the regular government troops and conducting assassination bids against security officials to court bigger confrontations in the province, and today the provincial capital saw a bout of violence in which led to deaths and injuries.
The presidential council [a Sau*di and UA*E puppet] held an emergency meeting and instead of sacking the governor responded by sacking three commanders from the governmental security police which came under separatist attacks.
