Yemen: Houthis exploit absence of coalition warplanes in past hours to scale up war

The Houthi militia are exploiting the absence of the Arab coalition's warplanes from Yemen's skies to scale up military activity by launching a large assault on the army's positions in northern Yemen, Yemeni Arabic media have reported.

Yeniyemen website on Wednesday evening attributed to military sources the saying that the Houthi militia have "waged a large-scale attack on the army-held positions in Abs area in Hajjah province.

"Seizing the Arab coalition's announcement of halt of military operations [on late Tuesday], the Houthi militia have sent a large number of armored vehicles to the frontlines in Marib too and in other war zones," the website said. More than 200 have been killed and injured in intense fighting south of Marib since early today as a result of the Houthi renewed offensive that enlisted several hundreds of militants mostly child soldiers.

An international cons* piracy from the beginning of the war 2015 has allowed Yemen's terrorist Shia the freedom to regularly acquire foreign arm shipments and depend on themselves, whereas the Yemeni army was kept lightly armed and dependent on S*di airstrikes for .day-by-day. survival.
