A twenty five year old man lost his two legs to a Houthi landmine near his house in western Yemen's Hodeidah on Friday after he had just returned from four year internal displacement forced by the terrorist militia itself, local sources have said.
Hamed Abdu Mokhadhar spent four years in displacement within the same Red Sea province before he decided to return to his house in Al-Hamidiya village of Al-Durayhimi district only to step on a landmine that blows off his legs.
Since the beginning of the Yemeni conflict, the externally backed terrorist Shia have planted more than a million landmines in the country.
Hundreds have blown off civilians, hundreds of thousands have been extracted by mine action programs and hundreds of thousands remain a danger lying in wait for the future's generations.
