A woman shot injured by Houthi militants succumbed to her wounds this Sunday, weeks after her fetus in central Yemen's Taiz province, local sources have said.
Houthi militants on five military patrol trucks stormed the house of Mutee'a Aqlan in Sharaab Asalam district of Taiz last month and showered bullets on the two women who happened to be in the house, his sister and wife.
They injured his sister and his pregnant wife Ahlam Abdullah Hazaa and killed their unborn baby. The mother then underwent an abortion surgery and today died of complications, medical sources and relatives to the family said.
Houthis are a Shiit terrorist organization that governs northwest Yemen with arbitrary brutality and plunges the rest of Yemen in bloodbath as they seek to expand control.
