Houthi-laid landmines killed five people in eastern Yemen's Shabwa governorate last week, the national Yemeni Observatory on Landmines has said.
The five people were killed in separate incidents on Friday and Thursday in Osaylan, a Shabwa district newly liberated by the Giants Brigades from Houthi militants.
Houthi-laid landmines have killed and wounded thousands of Yemeni civilians in the past seven years.
