Houthi militants shelled a house in central Yemen 's province of Taiz killing a woman and damaging the house on Friday, local sources have said.
The well-armed Shiit sectarian militants besieging Taiz's capital and fighting to expand in its rural areas shelled the house of Faysal Al-Tofayli killing his wife in Maqbana district west of Taiz, the sources said.
Meawhile a Houthi sniper shot dead a woman in the besieged city center of Taiz this Saturday. The militant shot Shifaa Farhan while she was carrying a container and fetching water to her family from a charity tap.
Over the past six years, the externally backed Shiit militants have killed and injured thousands of civilians mostly children in the Sunni province. mostly by the way of sniper shootings.
