Yemen's Southern Transitional Council militia hanged to death a government soldier and
brutally tortured two others who tried to foil the smuggling of arms to the their fellow anti-government militia in the north, the Houthis, this weekend, local sources have confirmed.
The STC militia Abdulhakim Al-Atabi, Abdulwali Al-Atabi and Rayan Al-Atabi, three government soldiers on the frontline of the southern Al-Dhale'a province and borderline between the former north and south Yemen after they tried to block an STC sent arms convoy heading to the Houthi Shiit militia. The three soldiers engaged in clashes with the STC militia before they were called for investigation and tortured. Abdulwali was finally hanged to death.
The STC militia is a main facilitator and smuggler of arms to Houthis.
